TeamFranken Update

LAWN SIGNS

If you’ve signed up for a lawn sign, it’s on the way!  To speed up the process, we’d appreciate ANY help possible in delivering them.  The DFL and the Franken campaign use a computer program that completely maps out the routes and ensures an efficient delivery.  You can either pick up the signs, routes, and maps at our office at 2575 University Ave W. in St. Paul or we’ll bring them out to you if that’s easier.  This is a great opportunity to get involved, especially if you don’t like doorknocking or phonebanking (but the DFL Coordinated Campaign could ALWAYS use more people at the doors helping out all of our endorsed candidates).

Also, we’d appreciate help in finding good sign locations for our Franken 4×8’s, so please let us know if you have any so we can make sure that Al is visible in each district.

If you are interested in helping deliver or have locations, please contact Nathan, the CD5 Political Coordinator, at 218-348-7123 or nolson@dfl.org.

STATE FAIR VOLUNTEERS

There are only a few days until the deep-fried fun begins, and that means we need volunteers to sign up to staff the Franken for Senate booth for every day of the Fair (August 21 - September 1). Shifts are available from 9am - 9pm every day. We are signing people up for three-hour shifts, so you’ll still have plenty of time to explore the exhibits and try a few favorite food items while you’re at the Fair.

Shifts:?9am - 12pm

12pm - 3pm,

3pm - 6pm

6pm - 9pm

You are MORE than welcome to sign up for multiple shifts per day or for multiple days!

WE NEED YOUR HELP so please sign up by contacting Amber at amber@dfl.org or 952-818-8781. (If you leave a phone message, please make sure include your name, phone number, and dates you want to help!).

We had a great time at our booth last year (you might remember our popular baseball cards), so we hope you can join us!

Thanks for your help and we look forward to seeing you at the State Fair!
